22 Sept, 2007 ICA la-*test*-('") news: Next Tournament - Oct. 6th - Ohio River - Leavenworth - Day - 7am - 4pm - This will be our last points tournament for the 2007 season. All ICA members are invited to fish on our last points tournament of 2007 on Oct. 6th. We hope to see you there. There is no launch fee for this ramp. Ramp is located on East Wyandotte Ave. off CR-64 just east of Leavenweorth. Head south on IN-66 toward CR-72/E Tower Rd - 1.7 mi - 4 mins 2. Turn left to stay on IN-66 - 1.0 mi - 2 mins 3. Turn left at IN-62 - 1.1 mi - 2 mins 4. Turn right at King Rd - 49 ft 5. Turn left at Main St - 0.3 mi - 1 min 6. Turn left at W Court St - 0.1 mi 7. Turn left at Wood St - 240 ft 8. Turn right at Old IN-62 - 0.2 mi - 1 min - (Old IN-62 becomes CR-64) 9. Turn left into boat ramp parking lot -- CLASSIC -- Oct. 7th - Ohio River - Leavenworth - Day - 7am - 1pm Any member in good standing who fishes 7 of 8 ICA points tournaments in this calendar year, is eligible to fish the ICA Classic Tournament. There will be no entry fee for the ICA Classic. The potential pay out is $1,500.00 with an optional Big Fish pot of $20 per team. Should the payout reach the $1,500.00 mark, the anticipated awards for the top three spots are: 1st = $750, 2nd = $500 & 3rd = $250. No ICA Tournament Series points are awarded for this event. The following is a list of members who are eligible to fish in the Classic on the 7th. The fishing wasn't terribly bad as 4 boats weighed a limit of 6 fish. The water temp dropped all night to just 72 degrees by weigh in. The 8 boats that competed weighed a total of 33 channel cats for a total weight of 187.0 lb. That's an average of 5.67 lb. per fish. First place went to the team of James Halcomb & Chuck Breedlove Their 6 fish limit of channels weighed a total of 46.1 lb. A great showing, good job fellas. They took home $320 for first place Excellent.... Jeff Darks & Travis Wasson took second place with 6 channels for 32.2 lb. 2nd place netted them a total of $240 for their hard work. Good job.. Big Fish went to Jim Brooks & Larry Parker. They had a 11.4 lb channel cat. They received $80 for Big Fish. Good job guys...
