ICA 2008
30 December, 2007 :grin: Seasons Greetings form all of us here at the ICA. We hope your Holiday Season is going well. We thought we would drop you a line to let you know of upcoming events with the ICA. On January 12th & 13th, 2008, The ICA will have a booth at the 3rd annual ISC Fishing Expo. This will be at the Johnson County Fairgrounds. Officers Jon Land and Danny Camden will be manning the booth for us. Be sure to stop in and say hi. The times will be Saturday 9-6 and Sunday 10-4. You may help out to if you wish. Just contact Jon or Danny, the more the merrier...Complete details on the show can be found at the ISC website at http://www.iscconservation.org/index.php?page=expo The ICA will hold its' annual Business meeting on Saturday February 2nd at the Terre Haute Gander Mountain at 2:00 p.m. (812-237-0940). Directions are from I465 take 70 w to US 41. The Terre Haute store is located on US Highway 41, 1/2 mile south of Interstate 70 right behind McDonalds on Hwy 41. At the meeting we will cover all pertinent ICA business as well as cover any potential changes to the ICA rules, points, etc. Mike Mitchell has been compiling a list throughout the year of member concerns and ideas to improve the club. If you have anything you would like brought up, you may contact him at icatfish@comcast.net or cal 317-745-7584. This is your chance to affect the direction of the club. We hope to see you there. Here is a preview of the 2008 ICA schedule. The dates are pretty much locked in although there may be some minor changes to locations pending the Feb. 2nd business Meeting. Please note that we will not hold a tournament in September. This is due to the fact that Cabelas is holding a Qualifier and the Classic in September on the Ohio River. We want to give all of our members the opportunity to fish both of these if they wish. Be sure to check our website to see who is already qualified for the 2008 Cabelas Classic. Feb. 2nd - Business Meeting - Gander Mountain Terre Haute March 29th - Day - Ohio River - Vevay April 19th - Day - Geist Reservoir May 17th - Night - Wabash River - Vincennes June 7th - Night - Monroe Reservoir June 28th - Night - Wabash River - Fort Quiatenon - West klafayette July 19th - Night - Mississinewa Reservoir - Miami Ramp Aug. 16th - Night - Morse Reservoir Oct. 18th - Day - Ohio River - Evansville CLASSIC - Oct. 19th - Day - Ohio River - Evansville Nov. 15th - Awards Banquet Tightlines....We hope to see you soon...Have a happy and safe New Year... :devil .
