Skip Jack ???
New to this sport and have read to use skip jacks.Uh whats a skip jack?Any info or pics would be a great help THANKS!!

A skipjack is a herring. They are about 8" to as much as 20" in length. They are caught in the Ohio river and south mostly. We use sabiki rigs for them and fish them on 8lb -*test*-('") with a spinning reel and a long rod. Right now it is to hot and they are scarce and hard to get. Sorry can't help with a picture.
